Fort Hays State University

Black and Gold Room

Agenda coming soon.

Each year, the Ellis County Bar Association coordinates a seminar to provide attorneys across western Kansas the opportunity to obtain 12 hours of Continuing Legal Education, including two Ethics hours.

Named for former attorney and Municipal Court Judge Gene F. Anderson, the annual CLE includes classes Friday morning and afternoon, a "happy hour" get-together Friday evening, and final classes on Saturday morning; all in a format that allows Kansas attorneys to conveniently get all required continuing legal education in a single seminar.

The 2020 CLE will take place Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, in the Black and Gold Room at the Fort Hays State University Memorial Union. The cost is $150 for ECBA dues paying members, and $210 for non-members. There is an additional charge of $25.00 if an attendee requires printed materials, as opposed to a digital copy.

Application for CLE credit approval in Kansas is currently pending.
